The eight-day Ati Rudram & Shatachandi Mahayagya includes 15,000 Rudram mantra chants, 1,500 Rudra Homas, 300 Durga Saptashati recitations, 300 Chandi Homas and many other divine Vedic rituals
On the sacred banks of Maa Ganga at Parmarth Niketan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami Ji visited with his family this morning. In the divine presence, blessings and guidance of Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Smt. Dhami Ji and MLA Renu Bisht Ji performed Ganga Pujan, Abhishek and offered sacred ahutis in the divine Ati Rudram & Shatachandi Mahayagya.
This sacred gathering was a living symbol of Uttarakhand’s spiritual heritage, the glory of Sanatan traditions and dedication to national welfare. The chanting of Vedic mantras by more than 200 women scholars filled the atmosphere with divinity, devotion and positive energy.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister offered special prayers for the continuous progress of Uttarakhand, the security and prosperity of India, and peace and harmony across the world. He also participated in a special havan for the prosperity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, ecological balance, welfare and spiritual upliftment.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji said, “Uttarakhand is not merely a state, but the beating heart of India’s spiritual consciousness.” Cradled in the Himalayas, blessed by the pure flow of Maa Ganga and sanctified by the tapasya of sages, this land has always given the message of yoga, peace and dharma to humanity.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister said that this Ati Rudram & Shatachandi Mahayagya at Parmarth Niketan is spreading a message of human welfare, environmental protection, world peace and inner awakening. It is a remarkable confluence of Uttarakhand’s spiritual glory, the strength of Sanatan culture and the inspiring energy of nation-building.
The collective chanting of Vedic mantras by over 200 women scholars from many nations became a shining example of the global acceptance of Sanatan culture and the Vedic upliftment of women’s spiritual leadership.
Under the guidance of Shri Amriteshwaryamba Sameta Ji, Shri Amriteshwaranandnath Saraswati Ji, Shri Naresh Natarajan Ji and Shri Himanshu Ji, scholars and women participants from South India and London took part in this grand sacred ceremony.
