The sacred discourse of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, flowing from the holy words of Sant Shri Sagar Shastri Ji from the revered land of Somnath, immersed devotees in devotion, wisdom and spiritual awakening at Parmarth Niketan. Inspiring stories from the divine life of Lord Krishna, along with messages of dharma, compassion, love and spiritual values deeply touched all present.
On the concluding day of the Katha, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji shared that the Shrimad Bhagwat is not merely a scripture, but a divine consciousness that connects humanity with truth, love, selfless service and God. He reminded devotees of the seven appeals of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, emphasizing that environmental protection, self-reliance and national responsibility are today’s true dharma.
Pujya Swamiji highlighted the messages of “100 Green Kathas,” “Plastic-Free Kathas,” and “Green Vision, Serene Creation,” urging people to adopt sustainable lifestyles with fewer vehicles, reduced pollution, fuel conservation and protection of nature. He cited Lord Krishna’s subduing of Kaliya Nag and Lord Shiva holding the Halahal poison as timeless examples of environmental protection and sacrifice for the welfare of humanity.
Hundreds of devotees, including the Om Heritage family from Gujarat, are experiencing the divine Bhagwat Katha, sacred Ganga Aarti and satsang on the banks of Maa Ganga. Pujya Swamiji also inspired all participants to take a pledge for tree plantation in memory of the Katha.
