Cyber Security and Free Legal Aid Camp Organized at Parmarth Niketan

From the Digital Age to the Divine Age

In today’s digital era, where technology has made life easier, faster, and more convenient, cybercrime has also emerged as a serious challenge for society. With the growing use of the internet and digital platforms, cases of fraud, data theft, phishing, and online scams are rapidly increasing. In such times, awareness is the strongest shield of protection.

In this context, a two-day “Cyber Security and Free Legal Aid Camp” was organized at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. On this occasion, IPS officer Kush Mishra (ASP, Cyber Police, Uttarakhand), Mrs. Bhagyashree (Investigation Officer and Cyber Expert), Advocate Dipti Mishra (Representative, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs), and Advocate Anand Mishra, along with other experts, guided and educated the participants.

The event was graced by the divine presence and inspiring address of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji. He emphasized that our scriptures clearly state, “Awareness is protection.” In today’s time, safeguarding our digital lives is essential. Cyber security is not just about technology—it is about wisdom, values, and awareness.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji further shared that unless society becomes aware, true security is not possible. Science provides convenience, but wisdom ensures safety. When science is aligned with ethics and consciousness, society can rise to greater heights.

He especially called upon the youth to become not just smart, but aware and responsible digital citizens. Only when we collectively transform the digital age into a “divine age” can cybercrime be effectively controlled.

During the first session, experts elaborated on various forms of cybercrime such as digital arrest scams, investment frauds, fake links, and OTP frauds, along with preventive measures and legal remedies.

The event witnessed the presence of Yogacharya Vimal Badhavan Ji, Rekha Mashruwala, Acharya Deepak Sharma, Anjana Sharma, along with students and members from Parmarth Vidya Mandir, Parmarth Naari Shakti Kendra, Parmarth Gurukul, and the Parmarth Niketan family.

Let us all come together to stay aware, stay safe, and contribute towards building a secure, conscious, and empowered society.
