Tree Plantation with Parmarth Rishikumars as Monsoon Season Begins

With the First Monsoon Showers, a Sacred Resolve for Nature and the Nation

On the auspicious occasion of the first monsoon rains, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, President of Parmarth Niketan, joined the Rishikumars in a heartfelt tree plantation ceremony, reaffirming the timeless values of environmental stewardship, national responsibility, and Sanatan wisdom.

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji shared, “Protecting nature is not merely an environmental responsibility—it is the highest expression of Rashtra Dharma. A nation that safeguards its rivers, forests, land, and biodiversity preserves not only its natural heritage but also its culture, identity, and future.”

He reminded us that the ancient wisdom of India reveres rivers as life-givers, mountains as sacred, trees as worthy of worship, and Mother Earth as divine. True development is achieved only when progress walks hand in hand with ecological balance.

Pujya Swamiji urged everyone to move beyond simply planting trees and to nurture them with love and commitment. Every family, school, temple, ashram, and institution should adopt and care for trees, making environmental protection a way of life.

Every tree we nurture is a gift of clean air, pure water, hope, and life for future generations.

This monsoon, let us not only plant a tree but also pledge to protect and nurture it. Together, let us build a greener, healthier, and more compassionate world.
