On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Anant Ambani, son of Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani and philanthropist Nita Ambani, a beautiful stream of service, compassion, and Sanatana Dharma flowed at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. The day was not merely a celebration but a living expression of selfless service and spiritual commitment.
A grand bhandara (community feast) was organized on the holy banks of Maa Ganga at Parmarth Niketan, where hundreds of revered saints, Rishikumars (young Vedic students) from various Gurukuls, students, acharyas, yogis, spiritual seekers, international visitors, tourists, and underprivileged members of the community partook in the blessed meal. The gathering reflected unity, inclusiveness, and the timeless spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world as one family.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati, along with the Rishikumars, personally and lovingly served food to all present, embodying humility, compassion, and the true essence of seva (selfless service). The service offering began with Vedic chanting, recitation of the Bhagavad Gita, and sacred mantras. Amid the resonating sounds of these ancient hymns and the serene flow of the Ganga, the entire atmosphere became spiritually charged, offering a deeply uplifting and divine experience for everyone present.
On this occasion, Pujya Swami Ji shared, “In our Sanatan culture, Annadaan—the offering of food—is considered among the highest forms of charity. It nourishes not only the body but also the soul. Every act of service brings us closer to the Divine and reminds us of our responsibility toward humanity.”
In a time when celebrations are often confined to personal or material expressions, this service initiative on Anant Ambani’s birthday conveyed a profound message: that true celebration lies in sharing our joy with others and bringing hope, dignity, and happiness into the lives of those in need.
Pujya Swami Ji also described Anant Ambani’s life as an inspiring example of service, sensitivity, and dedication to cultural values. Referring to the Vantara initiative, he highlighted that Anant Ambani’s commitment to the protection of nature, wildlife, and cultural heritage reflects deep compassion and vision. “This is not just a project but a divine effort to restore balance between the younger generation and nature,” he said, emphasizing its inspirational value for today’s youth.
Pujya Swami Ji also highlighted the importance of wholesome food traditions, noting that initiatives like the Government of India’s “Meri Thali Sehatwali” campaign encourage balanced, nutritious meals rooted in local and seasonal foods.
The bhandara organized at Parmarth Niketan beautifully embodied the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, where everyone was served with equal respect, love, and care. The flowing stream of service at the Ganga Ghat served as a reminder that compassion, selflessness, and service are the true pillars of our culture.
The “Seva Ganga” that flowed from Parmarth Ganga Ghat on this sacred day is not merely a one-day offering but an enduring inspiration for selfless service, compassion, and humanity.
On this auspicious occasion, the revered saints present offered heartfelt prayers for Anant Ambani’s good health, long life, and his continued journey on the path of service.
