Rajasthan’s Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development Shri Kirodi Lal Meena Ji Visits Parmarth

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji inspired action for tree plantation, agricultural prosperity, horticulture growth, and environmental protection

Swami Ji’s powerful messages spread green awareness across Rajasthan and beyond

Rishikesh, 25 April. Rajasthan Government’s Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Shri Kirodi Lal Meena Ji, visited Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. He met and received blessings from Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, President of Parmarth Niketan, and participated in the sacred Ganga Aarti, taking a pledge for environmental protection, tree plantation, farmer prosperity, and building a Green Rajasthan.

During the divine Ganga Aarti, Pujya Swami Ji welcomed him by presenting a Rudraksha sapling and said that India’s culture has always revered nature. At a time when the world faces climate change, pollution, and water scarcity, tree plantation can become the protective shield for humanity’s future.

Parmarth Niketan’s Ganga Aarti is not only a spiritual ceremony but also a grand platform for public awareness. Every day, devotees are inspired to pledge for water conservation, cleanliness, environmental protection, and tree plantation. Inspired by this movement, many committed seekers have planted thousands of trees not only in Rajasthan, but across India and abroad.

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji shared a powerful message: “At kathas, distribute trees instead of sweets.” If saplings are gifted at spiritual, social, and family gatherings, it can become the foundation of a green revolution. Festivals and celebrations must now be linked with environmental responsibility.

He said Rajasthan has always been a land of courage, sacrifice, and honor. Now the time has come for it to become a land of environmental heroes—those who conserve water, plant trees, protect soil, preserve biodiversity, and create a greener future for coming generations. Let plants become our new weapons and protecting nature our sacred duty.

On the occasion of World Malaria Day, Pujya Swami Ji emphasized that cleanliness, awareness, and collective responsibility are the strongest ways to prevent diseases like malaria. Avoid water stagnation, use clean water, and maintain clean surroundings. A healthy nation begins with responsible citizens.

Shri Kirodi Lal Meena Ji said that the future of Rajasthan’s agriculture and rural development lies in water conservation, modern farming, horticulture expansion, and tree plantation. The state government remains committed to increasing farmers’ income, strengthening irrigation resources, promoting organic farming, and advancing horticulture sectors.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji concluded by saying that trees do not only provide oxygen—they give life. They balance the water cycle, protect soil, shelter birds, and sustain human health. Let us all come together to write a new chapter of Green Revolution in India.
