Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, celebrated Maa Yashoda Jayanti with deep devotion, reverence, and the sacred spirit of motherhood. The holy Ganga Aarti was dedicated to Maa Yashoda, filling the atmosphere with Krishna bhakti, love, and gratitude.
HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji shared that Maa Yashoda’s selfless love is the highest expression of motherhood, embodying sacrifice, compassion, and unconditional care. He said that motherhood is not just about giving birth, but about nurturing, protecting, and instilling values and sanskars that shape a child’s character and future.
He further reminded that Matrubhumi (motherland), Matribhasha (mother tongue), and Ganga Maa are all sacred expressions of motherhood. In today’s fast-paced world, returning to family values, love, and cultural roots is essential for building a peaceful and strong society.
Let us draw inspiration from Maa Yashoda’s divine affection and make love, seva, and devotion the foundation of our lives.
