On this auspicious day, special prayers and worship were offered at Shri Jagannath Dham at Parmarth Triveni Pushp, Prayagraj. The sacred shrine stands as a divine symbol of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, beautifully connecting the rich cultural heritage of Eastern and Northern India.

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President of Parmarth Niketan, shared that the Jagannath Rath Yatra is a unique celebration where devotees do not merely go to seek the Lord’s darshan; rather, Lord Jagannath Himself comes to the doorsteps of His devotees, reflecting the boundless compassion and inclusiveness of Sanatan Dharma.

The divine procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Sudarshan Chakra carries the timeless message of love, compassion, harmony and the welfare of all. Pulling the sacred chariot is not merely a ritual—it symbolizes guiding the chariot of our own lives away from ego, selfishness and ignorance, and towards righteousness, selfless service and God.

When millions of devotees come together to pull the same chariot rope without any distinction, the eternal ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family” comes alive.
