On the auspicious occasion of B.K.S. Iyengar Ji’s birth anniversary, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji inaugurated the 3-day Rishikesh Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Yoga enthusiasts from all over the world gathered to experience various styles of yoga, meditation, study of ancient scriptures, the Ganga Aarti, and participate in a special Yajna.
Paying tribute to B.K.S. Iyengar, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji emphasized his immense contribution to spreading yoga worldwide, making it simple, powerful, and accessible. The Yajna was performed with offerings for world peace, the service of humanity, and the promotion of yoga. Practitioners from over 20 countries are attending, receiving blessings from Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji and Dr. Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, while also enjoying the divine Ganga Aarti and satsangs at the Ashram.
