Ganga Awareness and Aarti Workshop at Parmarth Niketan

An awareness and Aarti workshop for Ganga was organized by Parmarth Niketan, National Clean Ganga Mission, Namami Gange, and Artha Ganga. The workshop was inaugurated by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, and priests from various states of India, who lit the lamp to mark the beginning of this event.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji emphasized that performing the Ganga Aarti is not just a duty but our responsibility. He stated that maintaining the cleanliness, purity, and uninterrupted flow of Ganga is our moral obligation. Along with devotion, we must also work towards the preservation of Ganga. This workshop aims to train the priests who perform Aarti on the banks of the Ganga, so that they can spread awareness about the significance and sanctity of the Ganga in society.

Priests from 26 Ghats in states like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and others participated and received training in this workshop.

Our responsibility towards Ganga is to keep it clean and preserve its purity for future generations.
