A Global Spiritual Confluence at Parmarth Niketan
A Message of Compassion, Peace, and Unity on Buddha Purnima
On the sacred occasion of Buddha Purnima, Buddhist lamas, monks, and students from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok met HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji at Parmarth Niketan. This special gathering reflected a beautiful confluence of Sanatan and Buddhist traditions.
Pujya Swami Ji shared that Lord Buddha’s core message is awakening, compassion, and mindfulness. He emphasized that true peace in the world begins within. He inspired everyone to stay connected not only to the digital world, but also to their “inner-net,” and to embrace Appo Deepo Bhava—be a light unto yourself.
The Buddhist representatives described the Ganga Aarti, Vedic chanting, and harmony with nature at Parmarth Niketan as a deeply divine experience. The occasion included collective meditation, peace prayers, and interfaith dialogue, with a shared resolve for world peace, environmental protection, and the welfare of humanity.
Message: Discover the light within, embody compassion, and contribute mindfully to making the world a better place.
