Peace Talks.
Meetings took place in New Delhi with heads of Islam and
Hinduism, along with respected dignitaries to try to work out
solutions to peace in the violence which broke out in Gujarat.
Pujya Swamiji took part in several of these meetings, along
with other revered Muslim and Hindu leaders.
March
12-13: -- Varanasi
Pujya Swamiji went
to the holy land of Varanasi with Pujya Sant Shri Ramesbhai
Oza for the sacred occasion of Maha Shivratri, the night of
Lord Shiva.

USA
Pujya Swamiji traveled to USA for a week.
While there, He led
the India Heritage Research Foundation USA Board of Trustees
meeting on March 23, and also graced the special havan
ceremony for the 60th birthday of Shri Om Sharmaji.

24-26: -- California,
USA
Pujya Swamiji
gave satsang on the evening of March 24 at the home of Shri
Krishan and Smt. Satya Kalra. On the evening of March 26, He
gave a special presentation at Golden Bridge Yoga.
Pujya
Swamiji delivered an inspiring, uplifting and
transformative lecture to a large audience of westerners
living in Hollywood. This glorious program was organized
by Divine Soul Gurmukh of the Golden Bridge Yoga and
Kundalini Yoga Association.

Over the last 2 years,
Pujya Swamiji has become a beloved visiting Saint to
this group of Westerners. Each visit, the large hall is
more and more crowded, with people sitting practically
on each others' laps, and several having to stand in the
hallway outside. Prior to meeting Him, most of
whom had never even seen a saint, who did not speak a
word of Hindi, who had never visited India, who were
living the epitome of the "Successful Hollywood
Life."
In their visits to India and in His
visits to Hollywood, they have been mesmerized and
enchanted by Pujya Swamiji's chanting and divine words.
He led them in divine meditation, taught them about real
wealth, real peace and real bliss. He gives
usually a lecture of about an hour and then leaves about
1/2 hour for questions. However, the question-answer
session always runs over an hour and leaves many still
yearning to ask more questions.

This year, we
celebrated the birthdays of two special, divine children,
Paris and Paloma Baillie, to whom Pujya Swamiji presented
special rudraksh malas and images of Bhagwan Krishna.

USA
Pujya Swamiji
spent a day and half on the magical islands of Hawaii where He
visited the Divine Monastery on Kauai, home of Gurudeva
H.H. Sivaya
Subramuniyaswamiji, the founder and editor of Hinduism
Today magazine and the beloved Gurudeva of thousands
across the globe, who attained Mahasamadhi in December. While
there, Pujya Swamiji met with the revered Sanyasis and
Acharyas in the monastery to discuss ways of immortalizing
Gurudeva's memory. He also had darshan of the new,
Irvanian temple.

Pujya Swamiji
spent two days here, where He visited the Minto Mandir (of
which He was the inspiration and Spiritual Head at its
inception and still continues to be the inspiration and
guide), and gave several Satsang/Darshan and
youth/question-answer sessions at the homes of Smt. Yoginiben/Shri
Pravinbhai Patel, Smt. Kalaben Patel, and Smt. Manjuji/Shri
Nareshji Sharma.

Puja for New Hospital. One and a half years ago, the
life of Rohit Chandan, divine son of Shri Purushottamji
and Smt. Kiranji, was taken in a tragic accident.
However, instead of only mourning the death of their
youngest son, his family and dearest friends the Didier
Family of France, decided to create something divine in
his memory. |

building the Rohit Chandan Open Heart Hospital at Parmarth
Niketan, Rishikesh, where emergency medical care will be
available to victims of any accident or other disaster.
Currently, there is no such emergency hospital available in
the area.

Bhagwat Katha,

by Acharya Shrikant Vyasji.

during the special Sadhana Camp in honor of Pujya Swamiji's
50th birthday, this katha is sure to be especially charged
with the Divine atmosphere. Each year Acharya Shrikant
Vyasji's kathas are highlights of the summer season, as the
sound of his uplifting and ecstatic voice fills Parmarth
Niketan.

From June 1 � June 3, at Parmarth Niketan, in
Rishikesh (Himalayas), India, on the banks of the holy
Mother Ganga, there will be a special Sadhana Camp in
honor of
Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji (Pujya Muniji)�s 50th
birthday.
It
will be a time in which people can come, have His
darshan, offer their respects and love, and participate
in what is sure to be a divinely charged sadhana camp.
We will have special
meditation and yoga programs, as well as a special
Ayushya yagna burning for 5 continuous days.
There will also be continuous chanting of japa,
and daily recitations of the Bhagvad Gita by the young
rishikumars.
Devotees who come will have the opportunity to
partake in any or all of the activities which appeal to
them.
There will also be special
musical programs each evening, including Shri
Anup Jalota and Smt.
Anuradha Paudwal.
Further, as we are celebrating the birthday of
one whose life is dedicated to service of the world,
there will be special daily seva activities including Ganga
Clean-up, plantation
of sacred trees, free
