Special prayers, peace chantings, and a candle march were held at Parmarth Niketan for the peace of the soul of Dr. Moumita Debnath from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata. The events that took place were extremely painful, shaking the entire nation.

Pujya Swamiji said that this is a time of immense sorrow.  It is not a time for mere contemplation on women’s safety, but for action, to ensure a safe and respectful environment for women in workplaces.  We need to be more aware and sensitive toward the safety of women.  It is crucial to bring about changes in our thinking, thoughts, and mindset, promoting respect and equality for women in society.  It is imperative to expedite the judicial process so that justice can be delivered swiftly, ensuring that the victims” families do not have to endure further suffering in their pursuit of justice after the loss of a loved on.
