Shraddhanjali Ceremony of Brahmaleen Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji & Shodashi Bhandara at Parmarth Niketan

A divine tribute, a message of devotion, a celebration of Sanatan consciousness. With sacred mantras and deep reverence, revered saints, Mahamandaleshwaras, the entire Parmarth family and the Devi Sampad Mandal family offered heartfelt homage. HH Swami Chidanand Saraswati, President, Parmarth Niketan, and HH Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati, Mumukshu Ashram Shahjahanpur, welcomed all the saints with love and honour. At the holy banks of Mother Ganga in Rishikesh, saints and Mahamandaleshwaras from across India offered a soul-stirring tribute to Brahmaleen Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji, a radiant star of Sanatan Dharma and a living embodiment of renunciation and spiritual discipline. On the sacred Shodashi, a grand Bhandara was organised on the Ganga Ghat, symbolising service, equality, and devotion. All saints and honoured guests were offered Rudraksha saplings, a blessing of purity and conservation. The august presence included revered Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishokanand Bharati Ji Maharaj, Yog Rishi Swami Ramdev Ji, Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Ravindra Puri Ji, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji and numerous Mahamandaleshwaras, saints and ashram heads from across Bharat. Their words reflected love, reverence and gratitude toward Swami Asanganand Ji, a saint who lived simplicity, silence, tapasya and total surrender. Messages of condolence and reverence continue to flow from Morari Bapu, Rameshbhai Oza (Bhaishri), Dr. Pranav Pandya, Swaminarayan institutions and spiritual organisations nationwide, affirming that Swami Asanganand Ji was truly the soul of the saint-tradition of Bharat. This national Shraddhanjali gathering on 17 December 2025 transformed the Ganga Ghat into a living celebration of Sanatan Dharma—its timeless values, saintly wisdom and spiritual radiance. The saffron robes, sacred chants, flowing Ganga and silent prayers made the atmosphere feel as if Sanatan culture itself had taken form. Swamiji’s life was a scripture of renunciation—never seeking recognition, never displaying ego—only sadhana speaking through silence. His Mahasamadhi on Gita Jayanti and Mokshada Ekadashi is not coincidence, but a divine statement—he lived the Gita through karma, tyaga and vairagya. As HH Swami Chidanand Saraswati said, “Saints may leave the body, but their consciousness never departs. They journey from the seen to the unseen and become timeless memory.” The message of the day was clear—Sanatan Dharma is not the past; it is an eternal current. Saints don’t live in time, they live in consciousness. The body perishes, but values, sadhana and compassion remain eternal. Though Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji is no longer in his physical form, his tapasya, his silence, his vision and his dharma will guide generations. Hundreds of saints joyfully partook in the Bhandara, and Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji offered blessings to all with love and gratitude. A saint becomes eternal when his life becomes a teaching. Swami Asanganand Ji lives forever in the consciousness of Bharat.
