Organized with the blessings of HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and under the inspiring leadership of Parmarth Niketan, Vivekananda Youth Connect, and Ganga Action Parivar, the run brought together participants from India and around the world to honor Maa Ganga and raise awareness for her conservation.
Pujya Swamiji, along with Uttarakhand State Women’s Commission Chairperson Smt. Kusum Kandwal, and VYC Founder Shri Rajesh Sarwadnya, led the pledge to kick off the marathon, symbolizing unity, patriotism, and commitment to a Clean India-Healthy India. Runners across age groups—youth, senior citizens, and even a remarkable 72-year-old runner—joined to show their dedication to environmental balance and physical wellness.
Let’s keep this spirit alive and continue to protect our rivers, heritage, and environment!
