On the supremely auspicious and sacred day of Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti, our revered Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganandji Maharaj gently relinquished his mortal body and attained Brahmaleen, merging forever into the Supreme Reality.
Pujya Swami Asanganand Saraswatiji Maharaj dedicated his entire life to the Lotus Feet of his Guru, Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shukdevanand Saraswatiji Maharaj, from the tender age of nine. First he went to Shahjahanpur for his studies, and then came to Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, where he taught, practiced intense sadhana, and for his entire life lovingly guided countless devotees from around the world.
Throughout his life, Pujya Swami Asanganandji Maharaj embodied seva, sadhana, compassion, discipline, and tapasya. His satsang was a source of deep spiritual guidance, and his presence brought peace, clarity, and inspiration to all who came to Him.
His gentle simplicity, his effortless grace, his way of making every being his own, his divine thoughts and samskaras, his satsangs and teachings, and his unwavering dedication to the service and protection of Sanatana Dharma shall remain alive in our hearts forever. Through Daivi Sampad Mandal, his lifelong offering of seva, tapasya, dissemination of spiritual knowledge, social upliftment, and dharma-raksha stands as a shining ideal.
His teachings continuously resounded with the essence of Dharma, Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana, and he himself embodied these exalted ideals each moment of his blessed journey.

Managing Trustee of Swami Shukdevanand Trust
In 1945 at the age of nine, Pujya Swami Asanganandji Maharaj came to Parmarth Niketan under the guidance and as a disciple of Swami Shukdevanandji Maharaj. For the past 76 years, He has been devotedly serving the ashram.
He has obtained acharya degrees in Vedanta and Sanskrit literature, as well as a Master’s degree in Sanskrit literature. Since 1960, He has tirelessly served the ashram’s Sanskrit Vidyalaya. Though very learned, His simplicity and humbleness is manifested in the countless number of hours performing the simplest of tasks.
He is serving the Swami Shukdevanand Trust as Managing Trustee, gracing all of the projects with His devotion and piety.
Pujya Swami Asanganandji Maharaj has been imparting the wisdom of the ancient holy scriptures including yoga to countless number of devotees. His wisdom has brought inspiration, upliftment and deep knowledge to pilgrims who seek His guidance.
