In honour and loving remembrance of #DadaVaswaniji and all who have attained enlightenment there was a special gathering entitled “The Realty of Realization” which brought together Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Audrey Kitagawa, incoming chair of the Parliament of the World’s Religions, Acharya Lokesh Muniji, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati and Jonathan Granoff (Ahman Muhaiyuddeen), Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji and Satish Daryanani. Audrey began by chanting the Gayatri Mantra as a homage to Dada, as that was his favorite mantra.

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji gave an emotional address filled with tears of deep knowing and experience of his presence. She shared, “Dada did not live as Dada Vaswani. We saw him as Dada Vaswani but he lived simply as a devotee of God. I cannot tell you how many times I had bowed down to touch his feet but he would get my hands and bring them to his head and say ‘please bless me.’ He did this to everyone because he saw his Beloved in all and he never passed up an opportunity to get blessings from the Divine. To me Dada was a mirror through which if we had the courage we could see the same divinity that he saw in us through his eyes. But as he aged my experience of him shifted from being a mirror to being a window frame, through which we could look directly to the Divine. To me the lingering message from his life is to be able to turn to the person next to you and to have the courage to see the Divine in you through them.”
Pujya Swamiji spoke about his long and love-filed relationship with Dada, “To me Dada can never be gone, he is still on. Dada reminds us that we are only a tiny tool in the Divine’s hands. Dada was very humble, cute, creative and compassionate, not only to human beings but all living beings. I thinking remembering Dada is celebrating a culture, peace, love and harmony. Thank you Dada, Thank you all.”
