Sardar Randhir Singh ji, the Executive Chairman of the Olympic Council of Asia, visited Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh with his family. They participated in the famous Ganga Aarti in the divine presence of Pujya Swamiji, who gifted them a Rudraksha plant and inspired them to plant more trees. During their visit, Pujya Swamiji and Sardar Randhir Singh ji discussed the inclusion of yoga in the Asian Games. Inspired by Pujya Swami Saraswati’s previous address, Sardar Singh had advocated for yoga’s inclusion, which is now supported by Indian Olympic Association President Dr. P.T. Usha. Pujya Swamiji emphasized the global importance of yoga and thanked Sardar Randhir Singh ji for his efforts. The proposal will be presented at the upcoming General Assembly meeting, and official letters are being sent to the Asian Games and Olympic Games presidents.
