आज राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के अवसर पर डीजीपी, उत्तराखंड श्री अशोक कुमार जी ने हरी झंड़ी दिखाकर साइकिल रैली को देहरादून से परमार्थ निकेतन के लिये रवाना किया। परमार्थ निकेतन गंगा तट पर साइकिल रैली का समापन किया। परमार्थ निकेतन की सेवा टीम, देवभूमि मास्टर्स एथलेटिक्स एंड स्पोटर्स डेवलपमेंट ऐसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों और साइकिल रैली में सहभाग करने वाले प्रतिभागियों ने महामंडलेश्वर स्वामी असंगानन्द सरस्वती जी का लिया आशीर्वाद ले कर गंगा तटों की सफाई कर गंगा जी को स्वच्छ व प्रदूषण मुक्त रखने का संकल्प लिया।

On National Sports Day, DGP Uttarakhand Mr. Ashok Kumar inaugurated a cycle rally from Dehradun to Parmarth Niketan, which concluded by the Ganges. Participants, along with the Sewa team of Parmarth Niketan and members of the Athletics and Sports Development Association, received blessings from Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Swami Asanganand Saraswati ji and resolved to keep Ganga clean and pollution-free. They demonstrated this by participating in a cleanup of the ghat on the banks of Mother Ganga.
