Aspects of Donations to Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, Swami Shukdevanand Trust (SST)

1) Introduction

This document outlines the different aspects under which you may make donations or contribute financially through https://parmarth.org, SST’s mobile site, applications, and other digital or communication platforms under Swami Shukdevanand Trust, Rishikesh.

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable (except in case of double payment at the same time due to technical mistake of payment gateway).

7) Exemptions under Income Tax and FCRA

Donations to SST are exempt under section 80G of Income Tax Act. We are permitted to accept foreign cash contributions also, having been certified under FCRA. As per the latest directions and regulatory guidelines, Swami Shukdevanand Trust is currently not accepting any online foreign donations until further notice.

All online contributions must therefore be made in Indian Rupees (INR) from Indian bank accounts or sources in compliance with applicable laws.

8) Third-Party Payment Services

Online donations may be processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

While these gateways comply with global data security standards, Swami Shukdevanand Trust is not responsible for any technical failure,  unauthorized access, cyber crimes or errors occurring on third-party gateways.

Donors are encouraged to use trusted devices and stable internet connections while making payments.

9) Legal Entity

All donations are received and processed by:

which is a registered charitable trust under Indian Trust Act, 1882.

10) Limitation of Liability

Swami Shukdevanand Trust endeavors to ensure a smooth, secure donation experience.

However, the organization shall not be liable for:

  • Any technical failures or delays in transaction processing.
  • Unauthorized use of payment instruments, or any cyber crime.
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising out of such events.
11) Contents and Intellectual Property

All contents, designs, and materials on parmarth.org — including texts, images, logos, and videos — are the property of Swami Shukdevanand Trust or its licensors.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
